For all reletive newcomers to phpnuke, phpnuke.org only recently whilst working on 6.5 introduced a forum, there was always user support forums prior to this and still are now, if you need support there are plenty of other places to find it.

So true. I was suprised to see the forums show up there after so long without one, but it was a good test, and helped produce and fix a bug with the port and high forum loads. I wouldn't say there are now hundreds of users with no support, there's all kinds.

Just off the top of my head:

http://www.nukesupport.com
http://phpnuke-uk.org
http://www.nukecops.com
http://www.nukefixes.com

As well as our forums.

Me personally, i have never found help at the nuke.org website, i always saw that there were alot of people who did, just not me for some reason. On the otherhand this site and portedmods.com have alway been extremely freindly and helpfull, so now i mostly just go there for all my nuke questions.

For me, nuke 6.6 not being avalible to the "masses" isn't a problem. In fact, even if it was avalible, I more than likely would not upgrade unless it contained an important fix.

Why? The last upgrade I did left half my modules not working, and removed all modafications I'd done to the core script, which were (if I may say myself) extencive...

Next upgrade I'll be making for my webpage will more than likely be 7.0...

However, if I was to start a new webpage based on nuke, 6.6 would be a good starting point
