I am in need of security help.

I had someone help me set up my nuke site and now I do not know if the security was set up properly, I am being spamed by sex sites like crazy, Even though through the settings I have only registered members can post or sign guestbook.

The only way I have been able to reduce the spaming it set to where I have to read the posting and then approve it. Nevertheless, some still slip through and spam my site.

Can someone please help me secure my site http://www.commandssa.com my message board and guest book

Let me see if I got this straight, even though your forums are set to registered only, you have guests that are able to spam your forums?

Yeah Duke. Guest are not supposed to post anything but for some reason they do. At first my guestbook was open to all until the sex sites started filling it up. I set it where you had to be a member to even sign the guestbook and they still slipped through and the only way i can stop the spaming is approve the posting and that is a pain because I have to sort out real stuff from the spam. please look at the message board and you will see some of what I mean.

You need image verification mods or new integration of Captcha (in new phpBB version or phpNUKE 8.1?) like in any elegant website ,when they need you to confirm if you are human...(think when you apply for mail in Yahoo ,google etc. you need to put alphabets that can be recognized easily by human but bots can not understand)
I have mod on my site if you don't mind. get if just 3 places to mod.

I thought the same thing but I just visited his forums and I can start a new topic as unregistered which makes me think there is an issue with the permissions.

where are my posts going?

I've tried to post here around 6 times now... they just never post...

I keep getting blocked by your Sentinel for some reason. And I just figured out why it won't let my posts go through on here.

I was copy/pasting the Nuke Sentinel error that I keep getting, and it was kicking me back to the index every time i tried to post it.

wierd, but yeah....

This isn't uncommon when you try to copy and paste with Nuke Sentinal. It happens to people on my sites as well sometimes when they try to copy and paste a snippet from a news article or some website.
