Cookies for nuke-poll? - 12-21-2002, 05:59 PM

Hi!

I think it would be excellent if someone could make the nuke-poll better... If someone could make it so it stores cookies at the users computers that would be good, the best thing would be if someone could make it to work a bit like the phpbb-polls, where the members only can vote once, even if they are on modem and get new ip's all the time and even if they've cleared their cookies... They are just allowed to vote once per survey...

Damn, this is not so clear about what I mean... Shortly, I would like to use the same sort of cookies or something that the phpbb-board does, each member can vote once per survey. When a new survey comes up, they should of course be able to vote once for that also. If someone that's not logged in votes that should also store a cookie so he can't vote again at the same survey either.

The system that is used right now isn't that good because if you've got new ip's you can vote unlimited times.

Someone that has a fix for this or that can make one?

My english tonight was very poor, but I hope you see what I mean...

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,
David Nilsson
