If you have the package from Tom's site, then the instructions within it tell you exacttly where to put everything. He also has a data base converter that will move your user info from phpbb to phpbb port. BEFORE you install the phpbb port you need to make sure Nuke is working properly, then install phpbb port, then worry about importing your database, mods etc. Do a backup between each installation.

I am getting closer. - 01-02-2003, 09:32 PM

I managed to get the whole thing running flawlessly. Made the upload of phpbb2.0.6, overwrote all necessary files etc. Even uploaded a few newtheme packs. Made a few minor changes in the admin section to the look and blammo, error ops: Can someone go to the site and tell me what the heck happened. All I am getting now is the darn private message screen.

Heeeeeelp

We need a link. The one above in your first post is to your phpBB, the one in your Profile is to some site with a flash logo spinning in the middle...hehe

Sorry - 01-03-2003, 12:40 AM

I am redoing the whole thing. Uploading everything from scratch again. Can you maybe tell me what I should upload and in what order. I was planning on the phpBB2 forum script. Then the Nuke ver 6 then the phpbbnuke ver 2.0.6 over the nuke mods. Is this correct? I am really loosing it now as I was so close then everything blew up in my face. I don't think it was the script. It was something I did in the admin section while I was activating and deactivating things.

Also the site you say was my old site. I am trying to employ this script for my new site.

OK..back to square one.

Look under our Help link FIRST on the left in the Main Menu.

It will answer your basic questions on what you need to do.

then go from there. The README's in the scripts and packages you download will take you through the install processes.

OK were back on track! - 01-03-2003, 11:36 PM

Can someone please take a moment and go to the site and tell me why I have two different looks. I am using fiapple and all looks well. But I am getting two totally different looks in the forum vs. the phpnuke stuff. Confused. I like the subblack so how do I get the phpnuke subBLack pack for the nuke and the forums. I thought I had it already. Also I am noticing that the navigation bar on top is black.
