guess if it is taking the theme guru awhile to figure this out, would be almost no chance that I would ever find out how to do it.

Seems that the news module is asking for a font class called story.content, but in the style.css there isn't a story.content font class defined, but even if I add a story.content, it doesn't work, so I am clueless as to how to do it.

I got it fixed, not sure if it was the proper way to do it, but it works.

in the chronicles theme there is 2 files called story_home.html, and story_page.html, they are the same inside each.

down at the bottom where it puts in the news content, I changed where it asks for font class="story.content" to a specific color.

and the content for the news is now Black, I left the top portion to the default, so there is some contrast in the colors.

is it possible to change the link colors in the content area just by themselves.

instead of having black text with black links, would like to have red links just in the news content, think i can figure it out, just forgot, has been long time since i have done anything serious with html. oogers.

Hard coding it was fine. You had found the problem though, actually there are two of them, the definition should have been .storycontent and I never made that defintion in the css. I didn't notice as the color showed as intended anyway.

As far as the link definitions, those are also set in the css and are used throughout the site.

Sorry it took a bit, long day.
