ok, some people dont know this.... but YES I SCREW UP!! lmfao... i had my own problems while running my php site---- i have installed templates wrong too .... so what i do when it does not show up and its all blank is go to MYPHPADMIN... once you go to MYPHPADMIN, then you go to your NUKE or whatever SQL database... once you are at that look for the "CONFIGURATIONS" after you find that then you need to find "Theme" once you find that you edit that cell and you change the "theme" from the current name "sunblackn3d" to the default theme whatever you might have uploaded....------------To help the others with their them upload you when you upload a theme make sure you dont upload the wrong folder!!! As many do upload they upload something on the lines of "yourtheme/yourtheme/admin" when it is only supposed to be "yourtheme/admin" ----- i hope you followed.. thats all i could help with sorry i am not able to help more

Good luck to the ones that are having problems... and i cannot guarentee that i am 100 %correct with my info so please dont yell at me if you dont get it working

Another option :

1, Load the theme up correctly

2, Delete the Folder in this case "pack-subBlack3dblue"

3, Upload any new simpler theme and rename that theme folder ie : in this case to "pack-subBlack3dblue"

4, Your site should now be functioning with the new theme, pics might be off but at least you can get into yoursite.com/admin.php

5, Now go into Preferances and select the correct theme "subBlack3dblue"

6, Thats it, just delete "pack-subBlack3dblue" folder & your done

I just did a search on the database for the theme installed. Found it in the database and changed it to a theme i knew worked, and that managed to resolve the problem.

i am SO new to this it's not funny, but I have done everything above & I also have a blank page. the webhost I use does not allow me to upload an entire folder at once (i have no idea if others do or not), so I had to go through and upload each file one by one and make new folders (with the same name) for them to go in once I got them uploaded. could that be a problem? plus, i don't really understand which files to upload. I added everything from fiapplepink (the name of the theme) on. is that wrong?

Try using a FTP program : search download.com for example, theres hundreds, some free some not, anyway these FTP programs allow you to upload Files & Folders from your desktop, you simple enter in your (your hosting details) site url, your username & password. Hay presto.

Anyway getting back to your problem, you up loaded the new theme, then what did you do. ?

Did you goto your admin panel and select the new theme or ?

Just some further question, if you cant upload folders & stuff, how did you get your site there in the first place ? do you have a nuke site ? iam just asking but you do know these themes are just skins for nuke sites, ie: you need a site first.

yes, I went to my preferences and set to default. then, I used my other pc to check it and it's showing up completely blank. no error message or anything. there were some forum files that I added into the theme folder, should I have not included them in that folder?

I will go get an FTP program right now & see what happens...I uploaded this theme the other day and it did the same thing...but I messed up and changed it in my "account" and i couldn't go back to the admin page ops:

k, i just got an ftp program and uploaded that way (why didn't I do that before, it was SO easy! ops: ) BUT....It still doesn't work! It is still totally blank. the only folder i uploaded is the one named fiapplepink. there are other files in the zip but i'm not sure what to upload. there is a folder named "blocks" that didn't get uploaded, and that is it other than "extra graphics". does anything go outside of the "themes" folder?

i put the folder fiapplepink in the themes folder with all the other themes that are provided with php-nuke. those are the only other folders that are in "themes". the only other file in that folder is index.html. that is it. I am sorry i am such a pain in the butt to help
