When
testing a theme, set it under Your_Account, not the default admin setting in Preferances.
When your happy the theme is working correctly, then of course set it into Preferances, if you wish to do so.
Its always a good idea to have more then one theme, a theme reflects the owners tastes, it may not reflect your members, so giving a choice is always a good idea.
