This may sound like a stupid comment, but are you logged in as admin? If not you'll need to go here:
http://www.yoursitename.com/admin.php and login.
You should be able to edit your news items in the following two ways:
1) Go to administration page:
http://www.yoursitename.com/admin.php and scroll down. The structure of this page should be:
-
Block #1: Administration Menu
-
Block #2: Yoursitename: Default Homepage Module
-
Block #3: Who's Online
-
Block #4: Programmed Articles
-
Block #5: Last 20 Articles
It's
Block #5 your interested in, if you can see this page then you can choose to edit your articles from here.
2) If your logged in as admin, you can also edit news articles without going to the admin.php page as follows:
- Click "Read More" on the news article you wish to edit. Doing this will take you to a new page with that stories ID and some menu options on the right side of the article. The structure on the right side of the page should be: Related Links, Most Read Story, Article Rating, Options,
Admin.
- Click on Edit under the Admin title
- Edit your article
- Once edited, be sure to scroll down the page and save changes.
Hope this helps.
