Since I'm the son of a horrible alcoholic, I didn't always have the opportunity to get things off my chest when I needed to growing up. Sadly, I'm originally from a small town where this wasn't uncommon at all in an era that pretty much ignored the problem.

Now that I'm a father, I do all I can to hear what my child has to say and I do my best to treat her as I never was, with respect. Sadly, many people from kids all the way through adulthood have no one they can really confide in with the issues they face.

That’s where Lifesupporters comes in. The anonymity that the internet provides is a perfect setting for sharing intimate parts of yourself without fear of reprisals or judgment. Some of the topics we cover are as follows:

- Physical/Mental Health and Wellness
- Friends and Family
- Separation and Divorce
- Marriage / Dating
- Pregnancy, Parenting and Grand parenting
- Substance Abuse
- Bullying and Peer Pressure
- Special Needs
- The Inner Me (registered members only)
- Off Topic (registered members only)

You would think that these topics and the others we cover, would leave a black cloud over the site and create a heavy atmosphere. Happily, this isn't the case and some of our members have really benefited from the atmosphere provided by the site.

If there's ever been a time in your life when you've had something to say and no one to listen, you owe it to yourself to give Lifesupporters.com a look.

By the way, it's not all about bad news, its sharing the good as well. Give it a try; you'll be glad you did.
