This is actually a problem with the Fantastico Power Tool install. I too have had the same problem with it, the entire install in fact is buggy. IMHO, I'd install manually with an older version of nuke such as 7.6.

I've also heard of security issues with 7.8 and up which is another reason I'd suggest you stay away from it but thats just an IMHO.
