These are simple Guidelines to follow when Requesting a Signature/Avatar/Banner, etc. Try to fill out the following fields when requesting a graphic of any kind or you may see your request ignored.
*** IMPORTANT: Please be sure to post a link to your website. ***
1. Phrases: what do you want the graphic to say? Name, catch phrase, motto, clan tags, and clan name...
2. Font: what kind of font would you like? Fancy, sharp, jagged, techno, grunge, etc...
3. Colors: what colors would you like to see incorporated into your graphic? Colors in the font, background, foreground, etc.
4. Style: how do you want the graphic to look? Try to give a detailed description of the mood or style you want your graphic to have... creepy, bloody, techno, futuristic, army, fantasy, etc...
5. Border: do you want a border on or not?
6. Animation: do you want your graphic, logo, background, etc., animated? If you want an animation, what kind of animation are you looking for? Slide in from right, slide in from left, diagonal, etc... (links to specific examples will be extremely helpful and save time).
7. Dislikes: what you don't want on your graphic...please give us specific information as to what you would not like to see...this can be colors images anything...
8. Image Preference: you may not realize it but finding appropriate images for your graphic takes much of the time. Please take the time to find images you prefer and furnish us with links to these images.
This is the best way to not only guarantee an end product you will like, but virtually guarantee your image request is picked up.
9. Size: this is
extremely important as we have no idea what your current and future plans for our graphics may be. It's also an issue if you try to use an image file created at 800 x ? on a theme with autostretch properties. Ever try to view an image file with text created for 800 (or less) x ? at 1024, 1280, 1600 or higher?
10. Theme Requests: this is not the same thing as requesting images of any kind. Theme creation is a very long, involved and time intensive process. You are still welcome to post your theme requests but don't be suprised if it's not picked up and/or we inquire as to your spending limits. Professional site builders ask thousands of dollars (or more) for "one-off" Custom Themes due to the time required from concept to completion. While it is true that many sites offer phpnuke themes for download from $20 - $200 ea., this does not mean you are the only person downloading the theme. Most (if not all) pay themes pricing is based off an estimated amount of purchased or pre-purchased downloads and/or a perceived need that will cover the time used in the creation process.
Lastly, please be sure to monitor your request and request topic. There's nothing more frustrating than putting time into any kind of image file for someone, only to never hear from them again. Please try to be patient and please respond to your request after a sig maker has posted a sig for you...we will not PM you it is your job to reply to your Request...
OTHERS REQUESTS:
- Please do not Spam others Requests.
- If you have a request, make a new thread, do not request within someone else’s request.
IF YOUR SIG IS NOT PICKED UP:
- If you're request is not picked up, it is most likely because you did not provide enough information or did not follow the format above.
- If you're request is not picked up, please wait approximately one week and request again...do not post repeatedly because no one has chosen to make your sig.
GENERAL:
If someone replies to your request and says, "You need more information, please read the rules..." Do Not flame or bash them...they are simply trying to help you get your request done
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT SIG MAKERS CHOOSE TO DO THIS OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEARTS...THEY DO NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU!!!
Please Follow this FORMAT when REQUESTING a SIG...FILL THIS OUT as you would a Registration form...
Remember, not adhering to the above criteria may see your request ignored.
