Last week my site suddenly went down and an error message came up the the server was attempting to redirect in a way that would never complete.

I filed a ticket with my server, and they told me that the problem is in my index.php. I tried loading up a new index.php from my grandfather files, but that didn't work. I finally got on site by entering through the admin.php. That's when I noticed that the right and left columns were missing completely. So naturally I went to the blocks admin page and discovered that blocks had all disappeared. The only block there was a user's custom block, and it was blank.

How can I restore my index.php and my blocks without having to reconstruct every single one of them? Forgive me if this seems like a noob question, but I've been working with PHP Nuke for only about 6 months and I've never encountered anything like this before.
Get away from Platinum and do as coldblooded suggested. In fact, I'd stay away from anything other than ravennuke because it's secure and dependable.

More features carry more risks so you have to ask yourself, do I want bells and whistles or do I want a secure site? I know of at least 3 other Platinum sites now that have been hacked multiple times.

I'm sorry if this isn't the answer your looking for but I personally have no faith in Platinum and never will.
