Ralph are you talking about the Nuke side, or the ported bb side?

When you set up the nuke side did you make the administration panel visible to registered users?

Try this and see if it helps. Logout, clear your cookies, and point your browser to the admin.php

Should be something like http://www.yoursite.com/html/admin.php (depends on where you put your html file on the server, if you left the PHP-Nuke folder in there you will have to include it in the path.

You should be prompted to login there as admin. Logging in to Nuke doesn't automatically log you in as admin, it logs you in as a regular user.

IF the issue is with the forum side, then do the same thing, but intead of going to the admin page, go to your index.php log in as regular user, click forums, and you should see the link at the bottom of the forums page to go to the administration panel.

If it still doesn't let you moderate, I would suggest going through your ftp log files to what wasn't loaded when you overwrote the files. You'll have to go through each log file, If your ftp doesn't create its own directory for log files, check in the folders from the original files you loaded to see if there is a log file in there.

Also what mods have you installed? Do you get any other errors anywhere on the board, or just that you can't administer the board?
