NoteBored Exceeds 100%
Can I say I hate tables (though I use them a lot)? I love the NoteBored theme and just applied it to my site, but with both right and left blocks enabled it stretches the page beyond the width of my screen. I can't seem to find the variables to reduce it anywhere though it must be something in the nesting. The admin page and accounts pages work fine with only left and center blocks.

I'm running PHP-Nuke ver 6.5 and the resolution on my monitor is 1024 x 768.

Any bright ideas? My site is http://www.altworld.net

Thanks,

It loox fine to me but I'm using a higher resolution.

I don't really think there's anything wrong with your theme. I believe your images in your news articles may be causing you trouble though. Maybe try reducing the images on your main page to 500 px or less and add a <center></center> tag around the code so if they are a bit smaller than the page, they won't be justified, they'll be centered.

Thanks, that did it!

While I spent all my time looking at table structure it did not occur to me that I put those large pics in because they "fit" with the old theme without moving my blocks around. I'm going to change the theme officially now in the admin panel thanks to your very prompt assistance.

I'm glad it worked for you...
...but mine is showing only left and center blocks. I only have one one news item with a photo that should be small enough. I'll try removing that to see what happens.

Where exactly would you place the <center></center> code?

Thanks!

Rick

What exactly are you looking to do:

- enable right blocks?
- center images in news page?

Also, can you please provide us a link to your site so we can see exactly what it is your asking?

Thanks.

Oh, sorry...
Enable right blocks. I didnt' get the impression from the previous posts in this thread that there was something to do to enable right blocks.

Thanks!

Rick

PS: I'll enable this theme as the default.
