Lo people, I have just installed Gallery v1.3.4-pl1 and now get an error at the very bottom of the site only when accessing the =CW=Gallery:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/virtual/site29/fst/var/www/html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 286

Everyone I have asked get this error message, how ever I posted on Nuked Gallery Forums and there are 3 people that dont get the error message :? http://www.nukedgallery.net/modules....iewtopic&t=101

I have searched the Gallery forums and all the errors of this type have a different line number, I did however see one post that suggested it could have something to do with the skin (hence my post here) I am using the SmartDark theme and was wondering if anyone could suggest the cause of this error message and if indeed its a theme issue.

Chnage line 286 of sql_layer.php from:

to:

$row = mysql_fetch_row($res); echo mysql_error();

Upload it and see if the error message now returns additional information.

The only message I get is:

Which might have something to do with the IPB hack, and it appears before I enter the gallery and before the sql error message appears.

The IBP hack you are using may be OLD. The field it should be accessing in the user table of the Database should be user_id not uid.

Did you have to add anything to your footer.php for that hack?

I have managed to get rid of the error, I have installed wysiwyg 3.1.0 which replaces the footer.php.

uid and uname have changed to user_id and username
