once people receive their activation link in their email, they follow it but then they get to my site but cant see any images nor follow any link??? anyone has an idea?

i dont receive confirmation mails from user that subscribe. what should i do, now most of em will have lost their username.. can i reset that in anyway to restore their user name?

try the nomail_YA_hack it eleminate the email and create the accounts at sign up . IT makes it alot easy and nicer for new users to sign up . I use it on my site and like it alot

so i just write nomail_YA_hack instead of my email?

btw, will people still receive an email asking for confirmation? what about i dont want them to receive that mail, and just put up their name and they can go, thats it

Ok just tryed that, the problem is your settings are a little off

Two places to look over

1, Your main admin.php & Preferance section

remove : index.php from any URLs

2, Your Foums Admin phpbb : Configuration section

again remove : index.php from any URLs there

Your system is fine, its just the link being sent out is incorrect

its all done.. lets just wait till someone signs up to see if it works!

THe Your Account hacks let people sign up without having to check there e-mail for the activation link . The activation is all done on the website .

Worked for me I just removed the index.php from the link sent to me
