I think you mentioned that you were in the nuke_users table already but did you try changing the user_level number from ? to 2? I believe changing this value within the nuke_users table should make you an admin.
Where do I change it and how can u post me a screen shot please?

The following tables are taken from one of my subdomains which is a ravennuke.76 install. Don't worry if you don't have some of the tables such as nuke_nsnst_ as this fix should work for everyone experiencing permission based issues with phpbb not recognizing the admin value within your forum ACP:

...btw, I realize my above example already has me at user_level 2 but that is because I'm admin on that sub-domain

I'll have to remove all my permissions on one of my sites and see if I can find out why your still having a problem.

Alright, I've been through my phpnuke site @ gamemoviemaking.com and for the life of me I can't figure out why your having such a problem with your admin privileges. The only things I can think of for you to check are:

- make sure you have an administrator usergroup created and that the usergroup is active.
- change values in the nuke_users table to another value between 1 - (however many possible user levels you have onsite). The reason for trying this is maybe your admin level is another number than 2, although I seriously doubt it.
- upgrade phpbb if you haven't already to the current version. " Powered by phpBB 2.0.22 © 2001-2007 phpBB Group" according to my ACP

...other than the above, I have no other guesses as to why this isn't working. Simply put, if the db accepts the changes in your nuke_users table, there is no reason phpnuke should not follow suit, at least not a reason I'm aware of.

As Duke said, the only workaround is to go into your Nuke database, to the users table. Edit your username and change your user_level to 2.

I don't see my username over there .. but only found the user_level .. and I don't even see that Value column you have in the screenshot :s !

where can i locate my username in the nuke databse ?!!!!!

-------------

another problem I faced .. When i registered a new user .. I have received the usual confirmation e-mail but when I clicked it took me to 'The webpage cannot be found' !!! what's the problem !?! how can I fix that !!

Your username is in the nuke_users table within the database. If it is not there, it may be in the nuke_users_temp table as it sounds like you can't confirm your registration from your second post.

What url is the confirmation e-mail giving you? It may be that you have configured your site wrong and added http in front of your sites name so the url supplied in the confirmation e-mail is not a valid url.

I managed to get it sorted this was thwe problem
my main name on site as admin and member as Boris ( when I granted my self all the admins it was fine ) I changed my name to -=B.A.D=-Boris ( still with admin rights ) I was messing around the other day on site creating user groups and thats when I lost my admin Level
( reason I think it would not let me set my self as admin anyone who knows sql will know that characters like '=' <<< will mess up sql databse so thats why it was not saving me as admin it was thinking i was tring to hack the site
So all I did was changed my name back to Boris granted my self Admin checked it and it was still granted then changed my name back to -=B.A.D=-Boris and wolla it works Perfect thanks for all the help Greets Boris

That almost sounds like a cookie issue. Strange.

When you set others permission does it have the same problem?
