I donno if this helps, but here would be an example to explain it.

"Hi there. I just registered to a CPanel operated hosting service that has no customer support whatsoever anymore [thunderhost.org] My username is Joe, so my settings would be

$dbuname = "joe_nuke1";
$dbpass = "ragglefraggle";
$dbname = "joe_nuke1";

It's sure a darn good thing that I don't exist or my database would be hijacked right now! bye!"
