Hi,
I wonder why even the latest of phpnuke versions are using forums phpBB 2.0.14 and not the latest version phpBB 2.0.17

Is there any solution how I can upgrade phpBB 2.0.14 to phpBB 2.0.17 ?

You are obviously NOT using the latest version of phpnuke. 7.8 is NOT the latest version, 7.9 is. 7.9 includes phpBB 2.0.17 and is available for a cost. 7.8 includes phpBB 2.0.14 and is available for free.
