unleashed has pointed out that when viewed in firebox browser all is ok, weird or what?

so knowing it is now internet explorer that is funny with this theme, does anyone have any idea how to get round this?

is there some sort of code that can be added to the theme to make it compatible with IE?

if you view www.nissan4x4ownersclub.co.uk/index.php in IE and firefox, you can clearly see the left blocks problem and the right borders hiding some of the text in IE?

any ideas please?

thanks in advance

I've had weird problems with IE myself where Firefox worked fine. Recently I had to give up on adding a flash banner to one of my sites because it worked everywhere except IE :?

The only thing I can think of is to maybe try compressing the forums just a bit more. I'm not sure how your friend has altered the .tpl files but I would suggest to use static sizing (locked pixels) rather than percentages.

Lesson, I thought a friend of yours was editing the files?

If you tell him to lock the pixels instead of using percentage values for the templates size I think he'll know what that means.

To be completely honest, I'm not 100% sure thats the problem unless I can actually see the code.

well it went belly up with me taking the theme out until fixed by the seller,

i purchased a nuke theme from a link on nukecops but wot a head mash installing it.

ok templatemonster.com seem like they can't fix the theme or can't be bothered in my view, offered me a refund but i replied i'm not happy and want them to sort it,

pages are different widths to each other, right borders were hiding text in posts or any right blocks etc,

can anyone whos the dogs tell me if they can look at the theme for me and if it can be fixed? how much they will charge me?

any help on this greatly appreciated.

thanks

If you can give me a link to the theme, I can upload it to my server and take a look at it for you. I'm not going to promise the moon but i can prolly take care of some of the issues for you.

Of course I will need a bit of time on this because it is the Holiday Season and I have family in town.
