Ads Image upload full path (classifieds)
OK..........call me thick but how can I find the following info for the classifieds mod?

Ads Image upload full path

Ads Category Image upload path

Is it just my site addy to the file ie.

Code:
http://www.mysite/modules/Classifieds/imageads
or (as I suspect) something different as I can't get it to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Yes that would be correct if its asking for the Full Path
Code:
http://yoursite.com/modules/Classifieds/imageads
If its just asking for the path
Code:
modules/Classifieds/imageads
Are you having a problem ? just pointing out that most upload mods require that you CHMOD the folder in question to something like 777 rwrwrw witch allows user to upload into it etc... otherwise the upload would fail.

Thankyou for the quick reply.

I had all that in place and can post an ad with no pic without a problem.

In the docs it say "The Full path of your ads images location. This location is the destination of uploaded image also e.g : /var/html/location/of/to/upload/image/ads " so I'm thinking it should be some other variable of my addy ie./home/sitename/modules/etc etc

Thats the bit that has me lost

My folders are 777 also.

When I try to post an ad with pic I get the following error
Ads Submission Error
Max File Dimension Allowed in Uploading Image is 200 x 200 Pixel(s)
Allowed File Types are : '.gif', '.jpeg', '.jpg', '.x-png', '.pjpeg'
Please Go Back and Correct the Above Error(s)

even though the pics I try are all smaller than the max dimensions and I've tried gifs and jpegs.

Well based on the example given it depends on your server configuration.

example would be when you login to your server using a FTP program

your saying home is the first directory you see ?

so provided the next directory you see after clicking home is the actual sites files, your path would be
Code:
home/modules/Classifieds/imageads
if your next directory was home/then_site_name.com it would
Code:
home/site_name.com/modules/Classifieds/imageads
So starting from the first Directory(folder) you see, click your way through to imageads , that will be the path.

There are many many variations on how server directories are built.

www/html, www/public_html, site_name/html, httpdocs or yours home/?
