Forums acting strange with subblack theme
I have spent the past 2 days trying to get this right. I have had to drop databases numerous times because of picky Super User password limitations. I finally got everything up and running right. The forums are up to date via bbtonuke updates. I got all of my boards and catagories set up in the forums. Then, I tried posting a topic once from my User account and then from the Super User account. I actually tried this several times. However, the "New Topic", "Login", and "Login to check PMs" all redirect me to my phpnuke account page. It seems that it is impossible for me to post any topics. My forums say that I am not even logged in. I am out of ideas and about at a loss trying to figure out this fragile php-nuke system. I did get this far and hopefully someone out there could help me fix this minor problem. Thanks.

The nuke version is 7.8 and my website is http://realmxhq.com

Try to set up an account there and post something on the forums. It's a little hard to explain the problem that I am getting. Thanks again.

If this is a fresh install, stop beating yourself up.

Ditch 7.8 and go with 7.6, you'll be much happier and have less of a headache.

Or keep pulling your teeth with 7.8, your choice, but in the same breath, you won't ifnd much support for anything above 7.6

Thanks for your reply. After posting this, I cleared my cookies and logged back in to my site and it allowed me to post. It is weird. I have re-installed this system so many times and have finally gotten most of the kinks worked out. I don't know much about php-nuke yet. I am new to this system, but not phpbb. I see some similarities, but the experience with 7.8 has left me frustrated. Is 7.6 that much better? In my experience, it is best to go with the latest version for the best security. I will switch from 7.8 to 7.6 if it is that much easier to use. Thanks.

Actually, most versions of PHP-Nuke are secure for the most part if patched with Chatserv's patches. However, some verisons, like the newer ones are buggier.
