It could be yes, BUT I get completely different errors when I go to your site. That is an error you get there is a problem connecting to the db.

What did you just delete? It appears that there are theme issues, along with connection issues.

Edit: Ok well that explains why I'm getting different errors then what you posted originally. :roll:

99% of the time it is not a host issue. You can contact them and find out if they are doing something, or have done something, or are having an issue with the server your site it on. You should also check your config.php. If anyone has access to it, they can bugger your site up. If you accidently uploaded the wrong one, it will bugger your site up etc. Maybe a backup copy of some files, but the backup config that ended up going with it doesn't have the settings entered.

I don't understand WHY you would comment out a line when you get an error there. I would uncomment it, check to make sure you haven't accidently overwritten something. Then contact your host, and ask them if there is an issue with the server your site is on, and give them the proper error you get, not the one when you have that line commented out.

Warning: head(themes//theme.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jsminc/public_html/nuke/html/header.php on line 31
DOes this look right with two (2) forward slashes?

This is line 30 in themes/smartDark/theme.php in my site files
Code:
include("themes/smartDark/tables.php");
That is a mystery to me

Back to the original issue, you need to get that forum dealt with. I accessed your setup page by doing nothing more then clicking a link, and I was not logged in. This is a problem. No one but the admin should ever see that page, get the port installed, and then you will be able to access the forum admin cp.

Yes that is correct. Originally you said you were using splatt forums. I went and looked at the site. When I clicked on the forum link, it sent me to the setup page for the forums. Where it asks you if you are doing a fresh install or an upgrade.

Since I wasn't logged in, nor am I a registered member there, that means anyone can show up on the site and muck about with your forum setup because it isn't fully installed yet.

Go back click on the link in the menu, and it will take you to the setup page so you can finish it.

Actually I am deleting all files and re-uploading 6.0 This way I have a clean picture and can track what I am doing. I hate trying to figure out what someone else has done. At any rate the client said no problem go ahead so I am doing that. I made an error and put the forum in the home page. It posted the install page and I could not get back to the admin section. Anyway, I am gonna try this and if it does'nt work I am gonna jump up and down on my computer and scream bloody murder.

JM

Wish me luck
