Did you use the security fix for the phpbb2 ported or the first one that came out which was just for php-nuke?

A friend who has the same setup as I do told me to replace:

index.php
mainfile.php
modules.php

in my root directory.

I am asking you was it for the ported or not. Download the files from this site and replace yours and see if that fixes it.

Which files exactly. Yes, I am using NSN and yes it works correctly. Yes, I have a correctly installed port for phpbb2 to nuke.

Which files again exactly do I need to download?

The security fix. There were 2 versions released and you may have used the wrong ones. Look in the downloads block on this site in the upper right side.
