Discombobulated Newb...

Ok, at first I uploaded a new theme in the themes folder and I got the error msg like Bullwinkles problem. So I read some of the replies and tried to move everything to the right directories and now its giving me a different error msg showing down below. :? Can someone please help me out here? This is my first time using phpnuke and I have no experience or whatsoever on php. Just a rookie. :?:

And are you using the phpBB ported Forums from Tom's site?

It was actually installed by my webhost. How do I find out what version Im using? I was trying to upload a new theme and it messed it all up. I have removed all the themes that came with it though. 8O

Man the best I can do for you is I would need FTP access to your site and Admin password etc. So I can fix it for you...I hate to do that..but as it is now, you have a non-functioning site... :?

You can PM me the info if you feel comfortable with it. I guarantee I won't hurt or steal or break anything. I have my own sites and I don't need anything from yours, but I would like to see you up and running properly.

OK...I checked some stuff out. You are not connecting to your MySQL database.
You need to make sure you set the corretc information in your config.php file.
I also noticed you are using php-nuke 6.5
If this was preloaded on your Webhost, this should NOT be possible since that version of Nuke is not yet released to the "public" and it not yet ready for a production site.

However, the issue at hand is that Your config.php file is not connecting to your MySQL database.

Ok. The first problem that Oisole had was that his config.php file had the wrong Password to use to connect to his database.
Also he is running Nuke6.5 and was trying to use the wrong theme pack.

If anyone else has the same sort of problems, the first thing they should do is download the analyzer.php from http://www.nukecops/com and upload it to the same directory of their config.php file. Then point their browser to http://www.yoursite.com/analyzer.php
It will tell you any problems if they exist.
