My problem was probably, that on german boards, they tell you something completely different concerning the topic and category stuff (or at least I thought they do :wink: )

As it's described here, it doesn't seem to be too complicated. My problem is indeed that, bevore trying something out, I prefer to know what I'm doing. But, Mikem, you're right saying that I should try and play a little more around.

So, sorry for the questions and thx for your help...

I hope I am posting to the right spot. I am running nuke 6.5sp3 on hosted Linux server. When I post an article, it appears on my main page, but the icon is missing. If you press 'read more' or 'comments', it just refreshes the main page. If I press on the missing icon, it takes me to the article, posted correctly - readmore and comments work, and you can rate the article. I am new at this. Do you have any idea where I might have messed up? Thanx, Steve

i have a similar question ...

i want to replace the modules block (ive renamed so im not sure if this is the default name), or the first block top left, with something along the lines of a Main Menu. Where each catagory of content will be listed under a heading.

Something like :
http://www.allaboutnothing.net/ (this site is done in post nuke)

My question is, can this be done with blocks/modules admin panel, or does it need to be done through a custom module. I have messed around with the content, block, and module mananger in the admin interface and read thru the idiots guide, but i cannot seem to figure out how to approach this ?

any help would be appreciated ...

sounds like a theme problem, what theme are you using? is there a link to site, visual always helps

I have a question. as mikem and Cyberclark said before that Content is for making totaly normal pages for info and so on. I need that, and I know how to make them, but how to make them appear in the main menu? I mean, they have to me somehow linked to the menu so that people can read them?
