I have one forum set to private, it says you need to be granted special permissions.

I have another forum set to registered users for everything, except delete, sticky announce, and it says that you must be registered to view forum.

I'm wondering if maybe one of the files that was supposed to be uploaded with the port wasn't loaded.

The problem is I get it on both my test site, and on my regular site. I'll change themes on my test site and see if the problem is still there

Thanks for your help

EDIT: I'm wondering if it has something to do with the last post block, because that block wont allow posts that users aren't allowed to view to be shown on the front page? I'll remove it on my test site and see if that makes a difference.

I took the center block out. I removed nsn groups. and I changed themes that still doesn't fix the problem.

My test site is pretty much un mod'd. I'm thinking that it is a problem with the db. I've overwritten anything that concerns posts with the original files, and I still have the same problem.

I'm going to ask at a couple other sites about this. Can someone let me know what the value should be in the db for private and registered only forum users so I can check the values in mine please.

Thanks very much for your help.
