Just a quick answer, the colors are loaded from the file themes/emerald/styles/style.css
If you want to see the code look in another theme at the same file and copy and paste it into your emerald css and change the hex colors to match your theme.

Also you need to do the same for modules/Forums/templates/emerald/emerald.css
