Creating a New Page in Content Manager (Help?)
I've been trying to add a fairly large table in my content manager and it gives me an error every time I submit it.
If I cut it down, it works fine...is there something I need to know about large tables? I can't see why I wouldn't be able to have whatever size page I want :?:

If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, please help...or tell me what you need from me in order to understand better.

Thanks so much.

You will have to change the bodytext field in the database table in nuke_stories with phpmyadmin.

You will have to change it to either longtext or longblob.

Then try and add the text you were attempting.

MYSQL documentation:

Quote:
The maximum size of a BLOB or TEXT object is determined by its type, but the largest value you actually can transmit between the client and server is determined by the amount of available memory and the size of the communications buffers. You can change the message buffer size by changing the value of the max_allowed_packet variable, but you must do so for both the server and your client program.

Hi, thanks for that, I'll try it.
Except, I'm not sure it'll work since I'm trying to work in the "content" manager and inserting HTML tables is my problem.

I can successfully insert any amount of text alone (I have tested long stories and such) but the html tables aren't working if they are more than 12 or so rows long.
When I say not working, I mean I get a server error after I submit the page...so it doesn't even go through.
Before you say, try again maybe it's a glitch...well I have and the only possible reason for the error is the size of my table.
Someone else suggested to take out " " " and replace with " ' " but that didn't work either.
I'm at a loss, my site is sitting waiting. I really don't want to throw the whole thing out and start with something different
Oh, and I'm using the ZoneCopper theme.

Any more help out there?
Thanks.
-Fizz
