errors hiding left blocks - 03-10-2003, 12:13 PM

I am trying to hide the left blocks for the forums and an added parachat module but I cannot get any of the methods posted to work using Nuke 6.0 and the amethyst theme that came with it.
I get various fatal opentable errors in index.php and mainfile.php clicking any link after adding the code changes to theme.php and am totally stuck now.
If anyone knows a way to hide the left blocks using the amethyst theme I would be very grateful for some advice.

YES I did.
I downloaded the amethyst theme from here and noticed that there was an extra javascript file called fade which was not in the original amethyst theme I was using.
This seems to have cured the problem with table errors and the forums and chat pages work great.
In future I shall try downloading alternative files and themes first before posting.
