Just a bit of advice here.

You really want to make sure you are using the right gallery for your server. Gallery 1.3.3 would not work with my server due to the php version loaded, and some conflict with PHP-Nuke 6.5. I had to go to the Gallery v1.3.4-cvs-b23 version.

All the information can be found on http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php It doesn't hurt to read a little before you try to install. Save yourself some time. The CVS files make all the difference when you run your gallery if you need to have them.

Also, there is a whole bunch of technical lingo about how to install ImageMagick and NetPBM and Jhead on your server. Don't let that scare you. The simple thing to remember is just create a directory called netpbm and download the unzipped files from NetPBM into it. You don't have to worry about ImageMagick or Jhead.

1.3.3. of gallery works perfect for me, i have no problems with it at all using nuke 6.5 as well

People have problems using 1.3.3 with Nuke 6.5 because it uses Nuke's old uid, email and uname users table fields which don't exist in 6.5. As for NetPBM make sure you upload the files in binary mode and chmod them to 755.
