Help whit uploding files forum my comp! - 01-10-2006, 10:25 AM

I dont find this info, Maby its her someware!

Now to the problem.

How do a do too be able to upload files from my computer to the forum and to the download section. A whant to be able to post pictures and files in the forum from my computer.

Sorry for my bad english.. Its not that easy :roll:

These are two seperate areas.

If you want downloads available in your "Download Section", then you need to upload your files to your html/modules/Downloads folder (or another folder of your choosing) and create a category, subcategory and/or filename that points to it from your http://www.yoursitename.com/admin.php?op=downloads

Assuming your using bbtonuke forums, you may want to look here for a file upload addon for use in your webforums.

Be aware there can be serious security issues allowing people to upload to your server.

Good point. I also heard the same can be said about uploading avatars to a site as well. Is there any truth in this?

Me either but I thought I read recently that allowing any uploaded to your site was taking a chance. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that now because I really wonder now.
