how many of you guys/gals out there have domain names? i do. i think they are better than a .tk or .something or the other. they arn't expensive either, i know some don't have money, or credit cards, but get someone who does :P.

i have about 8 domain names hehe but yeah they are nice to have if you have the extra cash to afford them... there is no shame ina .tk or other type of name i had a type like that for a year or so..

Yeah, I have a domain. [shameless plug]gamingh.com[/shameless plug] =P. I agree, they are nice to have... Though I've had my share of .tk's and .cjb.net's aswell. :P

I myself own 9 domain names, but only 4 (soon to be 5) of them are actually being used. It is very nice to have domain names rather than having Blahblah.geocities.com and blahblah.tk, I feel it is also nice for the people visiting your site as they don't have to remember them horrible subdomains or shortnames.

Well i guess im poor i only have 2 lol. great to have yes but affordable not always i pay 8.95 and i can deal with that.

Do I win? :twisted: Last count I had 31 domains registered, some were .nets which point to .coms, etc. But all being used for something somewhere.

I range from unheard of sites (I keep trying to get them heard of tho!) to one site that generates about 12 gigs of traffic monthly. And run with three different hosting companies as well.

One day...

ops: ...maybe they'll start to pay for themselves too! :wink:

Doesn't hurt to know about places where you can register for $8.88, 8.95, etc. tho! 8)

ya i register for 7.95 so i know plaxces just dont have money to buy alot. gonna start a webhosting this week though lol
