I did a really stupid thing today. After installing the forumregistration mod, which appeared to work fine. I installed another mod, but got called away from my machine, (it's entirely possible that I missed something) I tried to re-import my database so I could basically move the whole works and give access to forum users. However what I didn't do was backup prior to trying to update the database. So the importer script halted. I went and emptied the tables that applied. and deleted the config file, re-loaded the config file. When I went to make myself a super user. I got those errors.

btw... Coldblooded if you still have the link I gave you before you can see what I'm talking about.

I'm hoping that someone has an idea of how to fix it, other then having to reinstall everything over again.

Thank you. No I will NEVER not backup again :?

hehe youre gonna hate this but.....re-install it

something didnt install correctly while installing the tables in your database. if you want, you can probably try just re-installing the sql.

Ya gotta love that lil snicker your sportin there

Grrr... ok no sleep tonight it is then. LOL Serves me right.

Just out of curiousity have you tried to install Wayne Pearsall's attachment mod? I'm thinking that is where the trouble came in with the tables.

This is what I get from just running the sql.

I left the db/schema files up for the attachmod, do you think that might be causing the error?

Hmmm... REALLY don't want to have to start from the beginning again

EDIT: I checked and the sql didn't insert tables for some reason, I re-did it. and now I get this

ok I re loaded everything. I still got that header error, so I deleted that theme, in both php and the forum.

Now I still get this:

Code:
Warning: Failed opening 'themes/DeepBlue/theme.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/iacoj/www/www/PHP-Nuke/html/header.php on line 31

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/iacoj/www/www/PHP-Nuke/html/header.php on line 47
There is no DeepBlue theme installed. :?

You need to put the DeepBlue(that came with php-Nuke) theme back in your themes folder on your FTP...

Thanks Mikem,

That works so I can get into Nuke bow. When I try to call up the forum to tell Nuke where to look for it. I get the following error.

Code:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information
I'm going to check my CHMOD again, it should be set to 777 right now. So I have no idea why I'm getting a critical error there.

EDIT: The critical error really was critical. Having to fully reinstall and port nuke. I actually attempted to install the ported vs over the exsisting files. That didn't work either.

So for those wondering what could happen when you don't do a backup and try to install a mod. This is a pretty good example
