issue posting new blocks on the right hand side of my site - 12-05-2005, 12:56 AM

Hi All,

Great Themes by the way, keep up the good work to all those that have contributed. I am trying to redo my website, and for the different links I made different blocks that I normally post on the left or right side fo the website. I have no issues in posting new blocks on the left hand side using the ripple theme. But when I try to post a new block on the right hand side, they simply don't showup. Am I missing something? A related setting perhaps?

I can create the block fine, and even click on the preview to see what it will look like. It is available to "all visitors" and everything tells me there it is there. But when I load the site, nothing on the right shows up.

Your input is more then welcomed!

Thanks

Does this happen even with Standard right side blocks or only when you are trying to create a new custom block?
Sounds like there is some code whether html or php in that block that Nuke does not like.

I installed phpnuke 7.9 on my webby and now the right hand blocks are not working does not matter if it is a custom or standard block......

I have deleted all the files and reinstalled it phpnuke 7.9 and then installed the theme and it is still not working do you have any suggestions....

I am still a noob when it comes to php so I hope there might be a easy way to fix this

Hey,

Here is a fix that worked for me, but i think it might still be a problem via firefox... but still needs to be tested. From IE it worked fine..

in your theme folder go to theme.php open that and go to footer section and where it says if (index = 1 ) you need to change that to this
if (defined('INDEX_FILE')) {
