just a question
is there a reason there are [exageration] 38 [/exageration] different versions of php-nuke?

do we really need this many...

2 at the most IMO, then as reg nuke updates the other version could update.... but in my mind these versions are just getting out of hand, and shouldn't even be made.

what do others think?

Yes, because everyone and their cousin think they have to have their own versions. Funny how they all bad mouth FB(developer of PHP-Nuke), yet no one has made a NEW PHP-Nuke CMS, they all use FB's and modify it. Not very original.
IMO, stick with the Original Release from phpnuke.org and grab chatserv's patches from nukeresources to patch it.

I can somewhat agree. EXPERIENCED Nuke users might enjoy the added "versions" but as for a new user, stick with the stock versions for starters.
