mySQL guestbook module error - 04-18-2003, 08:12 PM

Query Error

I think this might be because I did not install the sql folder that was included with the module but how do i do this? i used the web installer to install all my mysql tables but i need to install

nuke20to25update.sql
nuke25freshinstall.sql

thanks!

Do you have phpmyadmin installed in order to access your Database?
If so, then you can simply upload any SQL file using phpmyadmin.
If there is an sql file included with the Guestbook module, then of course you need to install that sql file so it will create the necessary tables for the guestbook.

If you don't have phpmyadmin, then zip up the sql file for me and give me a link to download it. I can convert it to an executable sql script that you can run from our browser and have it auto install the tables...

Also, make sure that the Guestbook is compatible with your Nuke6.5 site.

Start up phpmyadmin. Open your database.
Once in your Database, click the SQL tab in the RIGHT payne window at the top.
Click BROWSE to browse your computer for the sql file, then hit GO...

sorry to be a pain but..

the guestbook now appears but when submitting entries, they don't show up and in the admin page, the entries are there but when i view the entry user info i get this error message:

Select DB Error
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MySQL Error : Select DB Error
Error Number: 1046 No Database Selected
Date : Fri, April 18, 2003 22:43:40
IP : 80.225.15.32
Browser : Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)
Referer : http://inme.pressurize.net/admin.php?op=NukebookAdmin

Any idea why they don't show up on the page?

http://inme.pressurize.net/modules.p...ook&file=index

and when I change settings, they don't seem to save (they return back to default)

thank you!

Check with the developer of that Guestbook and MAKE SURE he/she has made it compatible with Nuke6.5
