Thumbs down Nothing in admin.php is saving! - 10-07-2008, 02:55 PM

Hello! I have recently created PHP-Nuke Powered Site but I have a problem.

The only things I can do is create forums, in the forum admin module, and change the very first news headline.

Everything else doesn't save, it just resets when I click "SAVE Changes."

I have the 22to23 fix in place, and the config.php is set to:

dbuname: "dbname_admin"
dbpass: "dbpassword"
dbname: "dbname_nuke"
prefix: "nuke"

and then the rest is how it came with the 8.0 zip file when I bought nuke 8.0...

I try to change the theme, nothing. Set preferences, nothing. My registering members for the forums are getting an activation link, linking to phpnuke.org/blahbertextlinkcrap.php, not lanysroughnecks.com/blahbercrrap=forthewin.php.

I try to change the configuration in the admin panel for forums, which seems to save, but they're still getting registration emails from phpnuke@phpnuke.org linking to phpnuke.org's activation module.

What the hell is going on?

Quite honestly, I never personally made it past phpnuke 7.6 because the latest release (7.8 at the time) was horribly buggy and a hackers paradise to b00t.

Since then I've been using ravennuke and have never looked back.
