Ok this could sound really dumb or not but hey im confused!!!!

Just started this whole nuke php thing and have in the past briefly dipped my toes into the big pond of programming via the usual programs.

Can some1 explain to me what language nuke php use's??? is it html? is it java? is it english? or is it jargon????

can som1 help a brother out????

and give some tips on how to go about learning how to be a gud nuke php programmer/user? i.e ideal books??? sites? REAL explanitory literature?


there's loads of idiot guides to php nuke amd help pages but i haven't found anything solid and extremly helpful other then forums

phpnuke is a portal system made with PHP (PHP/NUKE). It's based on PHP (www.php.net) and uses SQL Daemons (servers) to store information.
To be able to code phpnuke modules/addons/blocks etc you need to know PHP and HTML (xhtml etc)
