Members,

This is for everyone that downloaded a custom page from NukeStyles with the viewpage.php file included.

Someone discovered a serious security hole in the viewpage.php file. Please delete that file immediatly from your server. There are hacks out there searching the search engines for the viewpage file, to exploit holes and gain control of your passwords, sql databases, ect. Again, delete that file now... before something happens.

I have released a Website Documents Mod, that replaces the privacy, disclaimer, and about us pages... it also adds a terms of use page. You can use this module, as it's well protected with the already included module codes, in place of those files. All instructions are included. You can even make the module invisible, and just use direct links to the files. Simply change the link codes in your footer or wherever it is you use them.

You can grab a direct copy from here, without having to visit the site:

Sorry for this email, if you are not subscribed to the Newsletter. I just wanted everyone to be sure they deleted the viewpage file from their servers.

Thanks,

Shawn Archer

Yes, you downloaded the right thing...

This just replaces the statements from my old custom pages. But make sure you delete the viewpage.php file, as it's a security risk.

nice to meet you ...

1st i didn't dl Website Documents Mod at all. Maybe I dl other files from NukeStyles(i'm already using Enhanced Downloads Module V1.4). So this thing applies only to Website Documents Mod ?

Thank you for fast notice and for keeping all things safe.

Kelu,

Yes... In the newsletter, it stated: 'If you downloaded any of our custom pages'... and all of them used the viewpage.php file with them... So, as a precaution, I decided it was best to just mass email every member, 'just in case' they did download it...

If you didn't download any of the custom pages, then just disregard the newsletter... sorry for any inconvenience.
