PhpBB is already with Nuke 6.5
It seems that with nuke 6.5 you have choice between PhpBB and Splatt forum.

When you download PHP-Nuke and EXTRACT all the contents.
The main folder is the html folder
In there is your PHP-Nuke site.
It includes a modules folder and others. The different modules are things like Forums(phpBB), Members List, Private Messages, Surveys, etc.

in the folder
PHP-Nuke/html/modules/Forums is where the phpBB Forum php files are located.
