Problems in IE 7 - 12-12-2006, 08:24 PM

I'm having some problems displaying images in my "News" section of my nuke site and viewing them with people using IE 7.

My site http://www.allballs.org

There are 2 images (if you're using Firefox) in my latest news post that don't seem to show up in IE7.

My image code is as follows:

<img src="http://www.members.xcellalliance.com/allballs/pettitte/pettite.jpg" border=5

I left off the closing tag on purpose so I could display it in the forum.

Anybody have any ideas?

Well thats because IE doesn't understand the "align" you are trying to set.
try www.xerocms.com/align.txt

Thanks alot. I know just enough html to be dangerous so it's not pretty sometimes.

Is there anyway I can make the text wrap around an image like it's part of the story?

The way I have it now if the image is to narrow and I center it there is a ton of white empty space on either side and if I align it left or right the text seems to start and stop at the top and bottom of my post.

here is the base code, you must 'play' with it to get the results you want

I'll "feel it up" a little later and see what I can come up with.

I'm guessing you mean I'll have to play with the dimensions and all that fun stuff.

I was going to say. that it must be something with your coding as. I use IE7 as well as FireFox and they have no problem displaying images in news

Aside from spelling petite differently twice, the only issues I see are the possibility of not creating border="5"></img>

I know you said you left out the closing code so you could display your post in the forums but I'm not sure if you're referring to > or > + </img>
