Select registaring - 04-30-2005, 06:43 AM

is there any way i can make it so i have to varify registared users?
I use phbb at the mo and use the Enable account activation section and set it to admin so that i have to varify they are a member of our club before they can read any posts is there any way that i can set nuke to do this?

Thanks Stu

Yes there are various options to enable these features, pending on your chosen version of Nuke.

Basically, the Forums are same as phpBB

I think i have phpnuke byFrancisco Burzi i just installed from cpanel in my web server. I have tried to change the account activation part in the forum but it looks like nuke just overwrites it and allows anyone to registar? I'm very green to all this so sorry if im being stupid?

I love the way it all works and was sooo exited when i found it but the only problem is that we need to share private info on one of the the sites so i need to select registration?

I do hope this can be done?

Thanks for any help Stuart

Your fine m8, but we need a little more information on your nuke version, did it referance any numbers in cpanel, maybe Nuke 6.5 ? can you supply us a link to your site ?

What was it you set in Forums Configuration, did you set the activation to "Admin"

Also note you can set permissions to each Forum you create.

BTW not understanding something (like myself half the time), doesnt make you stupid
