Dark Blue theme not appearing correctly - 05-01-2003, 07:12 AM

I am attempting to use the Dark Blue theme from this site however it continues to show in wierd neon colors on the site. When I click a module maybe one block will appear correctly but the rest of the site is still messed up.

I've downloaded from here and uploaded to site twice.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, any suggestions?

To see what I'm talking about go here:
www.dfroc.com

Thanks

WOW 8O
You definately got problems..hehe
That is not a problem with the theme. It's either a problem with your site, or you uploaded the theme incorrectly.
yikes!

Thanks mikem for the fast response, however...

This is my first theme upload. I uploaded the themes/Dark Blue folder to my themes folder on my site. From what I've read on the Read Me file, and here, thats all I needed to do.

I saw a Deep Blue block file in a seperate folder, does it go anywhere? The blocks seem to be the only area of the site affected. The pages show up in the right color.

You also said I might have a site problem. Could u point me in a direction I need to go to to see if thats the case?

Thanks

looking at your files properties i see this in all of the images for the blocks
http://www.dfroc.com/"themes/DarkBlue/images/logo.gif/"

i am not that good at php or nuke yet but i am sure the main problem is the " marks in there if i knew how you had things configured i could help more

when i changed the above line to http://www.dfroc.com/themes/DarkBlue/images/logo.gif i got the logo that is supose to be there. and it looks like any thing after http://www.dfroc.com/ is getting the " marks on your site .. might be the frist thing to look in to

Ok i looked at your source code from your main page and it looks all messed up every line has a \ right after the code as shown below

<td background=\"themes/DarkBlue/images/barpic3.gif\" width=\"150\" nowrap><font class=\"content\">&&<a href="modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=new_user">C reate an account</font></td>

This i beleve is causeing your site not to show up correctly i am not sure if it is a theme reload or if it is a index.php reupload maybe mikem can help out on explaneing wich one you need. but that looks like the problem i copyed your code to my pc and uploaded to my test server with out the \'s on the lines and it works fine

i am going throught the code a few more times to make sure i have every thing 100% then if you want i will post it for your viewing pleasure
