Hey Nathan..well, we have never really sent out any emails, but I guess we couls. At least when we post a News Story on the main page, if it's important enough, we could send out a global newsletter.

Since we use the Forum registraiton hack, there isn't anywhere for our users to actually subscribe or unsubscribe to a Newsletter.

We'll go ahead and start sending one out once in a while to keep ya'll up to date on stuff.

Thanks for dropping by...I've seen you arounf phpnuke.org lately..nice to see you over here

I love it. I have worked in Europe and In the US for the last ten years as a Internet Industry consultant. ....and I love the project (php). In the next two months I will be returning to the USA and I didnt want to miss anything not sure how long the move and everything will take.

I have your mod as a test with a beta version on www.area398.com and yeah the PHP http://phpnuke.org/ site has been awsome ...I like posting there and sometimes it really gettes annoying with the people ...but still I love doing it...there are somethings that I have been able to solve for people ...so in that sense its fun.

oh well thanks for the quick response and maybe as a module for the future a newsletter module--- and that is just off the top of my head at the moment ...Im sure that it existes already!!!

oh well have good thanks again
nathan

ps it was actually your help that you gave me way back when for my site that >I started to post and help people--- your bottom line quote for your signature

Hey that reminds me, I do already have a News Module. And it has a Block where users can subscribe and Unsubscribe...I'll see if we can't get it up and get some users to subscribe to it.

http://www.nukemods.com/modules.php?...=94&title=Nuke Newsletter Module

Here ya go..give it a try...Once it's setup. You can actually manually go into the Database and add user's emails, if they don't subscribe..hehe..If you are comfortable with that.
The block is included. Works great.

I'll try and get it setup here one Nukemods.
