Redistribution of a PHP-Nuke Club Version? - 06-19-2006, 12:14 PM

Article

How about you(nukemods) delete that news article? Isn't it prohibited to redistribute Club version of PHP-Nuke? Unless nukemods wants to be affiliated with that sort of behavior?

It's not actually myrtle.

Even 7.9 or whatever is the current club version is gpl and can be distrubuted accordingly.

ahh..isn't that convenient. I had no idea.
Then let's have one person purchase a club version each time it releases and then distribute it to all of us so none of us have to apy for it...What a way to stick-it to FB...great idea.

I know FB has created more issues than he's fixed but I'm certainly not on the hate FB bandwagon. For all he's done wrong, he has given us the basis for a very good CMS IMHO.

that may be a matter of opinion to some.

I personally have never had an issue with 7.7 and up, but I do know that there is a lack of support for it due to bugs, but every version of Nuke has bugs and or security holes, if they didn't then we wouldn't be using chatserv's patches on every version. We'd be using it right out of the box from phpnuke.org
