Just out of curiosity, which resources do you visit when building your website?

It's a given that you'll come to a site like this if your installing/using/troubleshooting phpnuke, but where do you go to find information on actually marketing your site?

Resources can range from Search Engine Optimization, Webhosting Reviews, Advertising Campaigns, Reciprocal Link Exchange Programs, Directories, etc.

Please provide links if possible so we can all learn from your expertise.

Thanks.

I've never personally marketed my site.

It's just there, if it gets found goodo, if not I couldn't care less.

On the other hand if it was my business I'd obviously need to promote it but I wouldn't really know how to advise on this.

I have to agree there...

Most users that visit here are building presonal websites, not Business ones...so the desire to get them advertised or attract high traffic is not there
