WTF! Someone help me here... - 02-22-2003, 08:43 AM

Hello

I have downloaded the security patch from this site, named SecFixes6 when you download it, the link is here http://www.nukemods.com/modules.php?...p=getit&lid=72

I uploaded the files, and all I got was I don't like you on a white page. It actually said I don't like you that is all. I didnt back up the 3 files I overwrote (foolish I know but I didnt expect it to do this and there was no readme with it) but I did have the original phpnuke 6.0 files so I put them back up

They were
index
modules
mainfile

Now, the forums dont work. Sure you can view them, but you cant log in even though you are logged on the main site, and the there is now a theme mis match.

Im using Phpnuke and board mod 2.0.3 (so it says at the bottom of the forum)

Link to my site is

www.ecombat.net

Have I fallen for a joke or something here? Im not having the best of times IRL and this is taking the p!ss basicaly.

Thanks for the Help

Download this modules.php from me and replace yours. Its not from php-nuke 6.0, it's from the forum. here

Nice topic Subject..that will get you a great response.

If the Security fix DID not work, then you need to re-upload the appropriate files from the original Nuke AND the phpBB port. The file modules.php, you need to replace it with the one from the phpBB port.
Replace your modules.php file from the phpBBport package and you should be ok.

The security fix on this site is ONLY for Users running PHP-Nuke6.0 AND phpBB port(from Tom's), I'm sure you know that.

And of course now you know, ALWAYS make a backup of your original files. That's on YOU.

Thanks for your advice guys, I always thought I was using Toms port, but I guess I musn't be ops:

I did as you said and it works fine now. I put the original ones back in from php 6.0 again, and found the original for the forum. Now it works!

Thanks a lot for your help again
