Administrator Account
Hi all!
really enjoying PHP (mind you I've being pulling my hair out a couple of times ). Anyway, here's my problem - I've set up 'mysql' database, editted my config.php file appropriately and created all my necessary tables using nukesql.php. Now I am opening my site administration page correctly - I am then asked to create a 'SuperUser' after entering the details I am asked to then login however I am returned to the below page
Site Administration Page with message There are no Administrators Accounts yet, proceeed to create the Super User:
If I run a query on my newly created database I can see the users I just created but no 'Super User'.
Advice and guidance would be very much appreciated
Thanks
H

When you used the Nukesql.php file. Did you use the one for your version of Nuke?

Hi Mikem,
taht's exactly where my problem lay - my web host has PHP v 4.3.9 and i uploaded my files from Nuke v7 - I've grabbed an old addition of admin.php from Nuke 6 (as I was getting an invalid SQL command message) and it has allowed me now to enter teh administration menu - whey hey!!!!!!
Can't wait to get stuck into it! Will this version inconsistency cause much more problems do you think?

I wouldn't run a Nuke 6.x admin file on a Nuke 7.x install.

You really need to get your Database upgraded to Nuke 7.x and then run the nukesql.php for Nuke7.5 to upgrade your tables to your Nuke7.x version.

No problem - at the moment I can access everything on the Admin panel the only problem I've encountered is when I select 'forums' - it's returning me a page not found.
