Clan Member list - 02-06-2003, 09:51 AM

Hi,

I'm a member of a Half-Life Mod Clan game 'Day of Defeat'. While brousing other DoD sites I have noticed that they have set up a module/block which when clicked gives a full list of all the clan members and also when you click on each indervidual name gives a profile page on each member (including photo of that member).

Here is an example to what I mean: http://www.dbdukclan.co.uk/members/?action=listmembers

As you can see it lists all clan members and gives the members profile aswell.
What I'm after is something the same for my site and wondered if any1 here could build me anything like that?

If its a question of money, as long as it isnt too much I might be able to throw a few pounds your way or even put up a link on my site instead.
I've asked that sites webmaster but to no avail, this is why I have come here.

If any1 could help, you would make me and my clan very happy

They are using a script made for gaming sites, you will have to find out the name of that app/script whatever. Also they have taken away all the credits and everything so I can't even tell if it is php-nuke. If it is they are in coppywrite violation.

Well the one I have on my clan site isnt that nice... but check it out and see if you like it. I'll send it to ya if you like.

Click 'Clan Roster' in the Menu. There is a list at the bottom of that page to click peoples names to see thier Bio.

ive adapted a script made for a normal php site and put it into php-nuke. at the moment its pretty scattered, so i would have to gather it. plus, we paid money for it so im not sure if id like to give it out. ill think about it though.

Br00klynzzfinest, Thnx for your offer but what you have done is link the clan members via you forums, which isnt really what I'm after, I want to set it up so each member has personal info come up like on that site.

ReNeGaDe, Thnx for your offer and if you could sort something out for me I would be very grateful, like I said, if money is an object PM me what your request is and I'll run it by my other members and see what they have to say.

Thank-you both again.

might i recommend trying the VWAR script. You can get it at vwar.de and see it in action here: http://iFear.owns.it (Clan Roster, Matches, Calendar, and Stats)

Its not at all linked to the Message forum... and if you scroll to the bottom click the persons name, and click "Select" It will display player info like you are looking for.

It is in [b]NO[/] way associtaed with the Members list or the message forum

Do you have to be registered to see the Clan Roster? Because I see no such link in the menu? If so would you mind if I registered to check it out? I don't want to go and add a bunch of useless registrations to your site, but I would be very interested in a members list with bios seperate from the regular members list for gaming purposes.

Thanks!
